5: PASC Joint Venture Audit Revenue Auditing Guide (January, 1997)

Prepared for joint venture auditors to use as a guideline in the preparation and conduct of a revenue audit. Provides an overview and the basis of a revenue audit and deals with the following categories: (1) oil and condensate, (2) gas and casing head gas, and (3) plant products.

6: PASC Joint Interest Audit Protocol (November 2006) (Formerly Joint Venture Audit Protocol)

Offers guidelines for audit related activities resulting from audit provisions contained in joint interest agreements. Deals with the auditor's and the operator's role in arranging and conducting audits, dealing with exceptions, preparing reports and handling audit costs.

7: PASC 1988 Accounting Procedure and Explanatory Guide

Contains the 1988 Accounting Procedure along with an explanatory guide to assist in the interpretation and application of the provisions of the 1988 Accounting Procedure.

8: PASC Joint Venture Expenditure Audits (June 1996)

Provides the basics for performing an expenditure audit and provides guidelines from which an auditor may develop a comprehensive audit program for joint venture expenditure audits. Deals with preliminary work, audit program considerations, fieldwork and field trips related to expenditure audits in the petroleum industry.

9: PASC Financial Accounting Capitalization Policies for the Oil and Gas Industry in Canada (May, 1989)

Offers guidance on specific costs which should be capitalized and which should be treated as expense in order to promote consistency in the preparation of capital and operating joint venture billings and in the accounting for oil and gas properties.

Consists of the 1991 Facilities Accounting Procedure along with an explanatory guide to assist in applying and interpreting the provisions of the 1991 Facilities Accounting Procedure.

Contains the 1991 Frontier Development and Operations Accounting Procedure together with an explanatory guide for interpreting and understanding the provisions of the accounting procedure.

12: Gas Marketing Accounting Committee - Invoice Information Guidelines

The purpose of this guideline is to identify information related to the sales transaction that is recommended for inclusion on invoice documents. This information will enable efficient verification of the transaction, facilitate balancing and enhance control of the billing/payment.

13: Gas Marketing Accounting Committee - Netback Calculation Guideline

The purpose of this guideline is to provide an example of a standard netback calculation and to identify the information required to complete this calculation. This information would allow for quick verification of all costs and volumes in the netback calculation. This is the basic mechanic's of a Netback Calculation and your individual company may vary from this format.

14: PASC 1996 Accounting Procedure, Modifications Exhibit and Explanatory Text - UNAVAILABLE - Please use our Publications Order Form

Consists of the 1996 Accounting Procedure and the accompanying Modifications Exhibit, Explanatory Text and Summary Grid. The 1996 Accounting Procedure has the Explanatory Text as an integral part of the Accounting Procedure while the Modifications Exhibit permits the notation of changes or modifications without actually altering the PASC Accounting Procedure itself.
